Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada has hosted many sporting events and concerts since it opened in 2020. Primarily the home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium has held major entertainment events such as WWE’s SummerSlam, or concerts by BTS and Garth Brooks. But, the biggest event by far was when Allegiant Stadium hosted Super Bowl LVIII, where the Chiefs defeated the 49ers.
When visiting Las Vegas to see a Raiders home game or major stadium event, you’ll want to find a good hotel close to the stadium. To help you choose, I’ve found the best hotels near Allegiant Stadium.
Normally when I recommend hotels for a sports road trip, I suggest spending less on a hotel so you can spend more on your game or event tickets. While I still hold true to this advice, Las Vegas is a little different, as the casino hotels can also be an essential part of your overall Las Vegas experience.
If you have limited funds, I still recommend spending more on your event tickets and less on your room. Chances are that you won’t even remember your hotel room, but you will definitely remember the great seats you had for your event at Allegiant Stadium!

Allegiant Stadium is located just off the world famous Las Vegas strip – it’s on the other side of the I-75 on the south end of the strip, at the point where the mega hotel casinos end. It’s on the very south end of the Las Vegas strip, so if you wish to walk to your Raiders game or event, you’ll need to choose your Allegiant Stadium hotel wisely.
City officials shut down Mandalay Bay Road before and after events at Allegiant Stadium, allowing tens of thousands of fans to easily walk to Allegiant stadium from the Las Vegas strip.
Staying at a hotel near Allegiant Stadium means that fans traveling to Las Vegas won’t need to worry about parking or finding an elusive rideshare before and after their Raiders game or concert.

Alright, let’s get to the good stuff! Here are the five best hotels near Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. Keep in mind, these aren’t necessarily the closest hotels near Allegiant Stadium, but rather the best overall hotels in the surrounding area.
1. Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino
When I was leaving Allegiant Stadium after the Raiders beat the Packers on MNF, I was shocked at the massive amount of fans who walked directly from the stadium to the Mandalay Bay Resort! I’m not kidding – it seemed like almost half of the fans walking back to the Las Vegas strip walked right into the Mandalay Bay hotel.
This makes sense on many levels – the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is not only the closest mega casino hotel to Allegiant Stadium, it’s one of the best hotels in Las Vegas, period. The Mandalay Bay Resort is home to countless amenities, including the Mandalay Bay Beach; one of the best pools in Las Vegas.
If you are in Vegas for a special event at Allegiant Stadium, you can treat yourself to an excellent meal at StripSteak, one of the best steak houses in Las Vegas. Or for a little fun, why not try Swingers – Crazy Golf (opening Fall 2024), which combines insane minigolf with craft cocktails and gourmet street food.
Located just a 15-minute walk from Allegiant Stadium, Mandalay Bay is an ideal hotel for any Raiders game or concert. With its ultra-convenient location, top-tier amenities, and easy access to sports bars, the Mandalay Bay Resort is our top pick for the best hotel near Allegiant Stadium.
2. Luxor Hotel and Casino
If half the fans leaving Allegiant Stadium went into the Mandalay Bay Resort, it seemed like half of those remaining went into the Luxor Hotel after the Raiders game. The Luxor is another of the closest Las Vegas hotels to Allegiant Stadium – just an easy 20-minute walk away.
If you are in Vegas for a Raiders game, you can add to your experience with a pre or post game visit the the Public House, where you can enjoy excellent bar food surrounded my multiple TV’s. You’ll also love checking out the HyperX Esports Arena – an insane venue for Las Vegas eSports entertainment.
During my trip to Las Vegas for a Raiders game, I visited the Luxor Hotel to watch the Blue Man Group. A legendary Las Vegas strip show, the Blue Man Group was still so awesome after all these years.

3. Delano Las Vegas
Located on the same property as the Mandalay Bay Resort, the Delano Las Vegas hotel is the closest hotel to the Allegiant Stadium. Lacking its own casino, the Delano offers guests a quieter, more luxurious option for your Vegas trip, while still being a very short 15-minute walk from the stadium.
After the game or concert at Allegiant Stadium, head on up to the 64th floor for a drink at the Skyfall Panoramic Bar. From this amazing vantage point, you can not only see the entire Las Vegas strip, but you can also see elevated views of Allegiant stadium.
Its all-suite rooms at the Delano are among the largest in Las Vegas, and it’s connected to Mandalay Bay, offering easy access to all of their amenities.
4. MGM Grand Hotel
The MGM Grand is one of the best hotel complexes in Las Vegas. It’s a little further down my list of the best hotels near Allegiant Stadium due to the fact it’s about a 30 minute walk to the stadium. If that’s not a concern, you’ll enjoy a stay at one of the best hotels in Vegas.
The MGM Grand Hotel is home to tons of great entertainment for a boys trip to Vegas. Within the hotel you’ll find the adrenaline-filled Cirque du Soleil show, Ka – which is filled with martial arts and battle scenes. Looking to party? You’ll love the massive, multi-level Hakkasan Nightclub.
If you’re in Vegas on a boys trip, don’t miss out on TopGolf, where you can enjoy some golf, food and drinks with the guys. And finally, the legendary David Copperfield puts on his amazing illusion show at the MGM Grand hotel.
If you don’t mind a little extra walking, the MGM Grand is a great choice for your Allegiant Stadium hotel.
5. The Excalibur Hotel and Casino
A trip to Las Vegas can get very expensive, very quickly. If you are looking for a more affordable hotel near Allegiant Stadium then check out the Excalibur Hotel. Yes, it’s more of a ‘family-friendly’ Las Vegas hotel, but that’s great if you are visiting Las Vegas with your family (as I did). A stay at the Excalibur Hotel during the weekend of a Raiders home game can cost up to 75% less than some of the other Allegiant Stadium area hotels.
The Excalibur Hotel is a perfect choice for a hotel near Allegiant Stadium if you adhere to my strategy of spending less on hotels and more on event tickets. It’s only a 17 minute walk to the stadium, and you are free to explore all the Vegas attractions in the other, more expensive hotels!

Where I Stayed near Allegiant Stadium
My sports road trip to Las Vegas actually started in Los Angeles, where I watched the Eagles play the Rams at SoFi Stadium. I flew to Vegas after the Sunday game so I could attend two major events: Monday Night Football at Allegiant Stadium and the U2 concert at The Sphere. As I didn’t want to rent a car, I chose a hotel that’s in the middle of these two iconic Las Vegas venues. The LINQ Hotel was a great choice for my trip to Vegas.
There’s nothing really notable about the LINQ hotel – I close it for my Las Vegas sports trip because of its central location and affordable price. It took me about an hour to walk from my hotel to Allegiant Stadium for the primetime NFL game, but to be honest, I loved it, especially the walk home at night after the game. The Las Vegas strip is one of the most interesting walks in the country, both from a visual stimulation perspective as well as a great people-watching opportunity.
